The German Football Association or Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB) is the governing body of football in Germany. It has jurisdiction for the German football league system - professional, semi-professional and amateur levels. It is in charge of Germany's men's and women's national teams.

As host nation of the UEFA Euro 2024, Germany is seeded to the group stages. It is in Group A together with Hungary, Scotland and Switzerland. The opening UEFA Euro 2024 match is between Germany and Scotland will be played in Munich on June 14, 2024. The UEFA Euro 2024 Finals will be held in Berlin on July 14, 2024. The German football team kits will be using a new font starting with the 2024/2025 season and in time for the UEFA Euro 2024. The font is a collegiate type with the numbers having a 3D effect by usubg a hollow shade. The font is colored black for the home kit and white for the away kit. The goalkeeper's kit also has the font in white.
